It provides special attention to each of the areas of development: physical, social-emotional, language and cognitive, according to the stage in development in which the child is in. Early childhood certified teachers are responsible for providing services to children at Early Head Start centers. Each center is organized by environments (groups), according to the age of the child. Children enrolled in Early Head Starts range from three months old to two years and seven months old.</SPAN></P><P STYLE="text-align:Justify;"><SPAN>Head Start</SPAN><SPAN>(HS) </SPAN><SPAN>is a federal program that promotes the preparation</SPAN><SPAN>of </SPAN><SPAN>children between 0 and 5 years of age </SPAN><SPAN>that </SPAN><SPAN>com</SPAN><SPAN>e</SPAN><SPAN>from low-income families by promoting their </SPAN><SPAN>cognitive, social, and emotional </SPAN><SPAN>development</SPAN><SPAN>.
